Petr Nejedly, IČ: 88085562, based in the Czech Republic ("we", "us", "our"), operates the CaraCheck — Caravan Checklist mobile application ("the App"), available on Android (Google Play) and iOS (App Store). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the App.

By using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Data We Collect

1.1 Data You Create

The App allows you to create and manage checklists, vehicle profiles, equipment profiles, and service logs. This data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.

1.2 Data Collected by Third-Party Services

The App integrates third-party services that may collect certain data automatically. See Section 4 for details.

1.3 Data We May Collect in the Future

As the App evolves, we may introduce features such as cloud synchronisation, user accounts, analytics, or location-based services. If and when these features are introduced, we may collect:

• Email address or other account credentials
• Device and usage analytics
• Approximate or precise location data

We will update this Privacy Policy before any such collection begins and, where required by law, obtain your consent.

2. How We Use Your Data

We use collected data for the following purposes:

• To provide and maintain the App's core functionality
• To display advertisements to free-tier users
• To process and validate in-app purchases and subscriptions
• To improve the App and develop new features
• To comply with legal obligations

3. Advertising

Free-tier users are shown banner advertisements served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect device identifiers, advertising IDs, approximate location data, and usage data for the purpose of delivering personalised or non-personalised ads. Premium users are not shown any advertisements.

You can manage your ad personalisation preferences through your device settings (Google Ads settings on Android, or the Privacy settings on iOS).

4. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party services, each with its own privacy policy:

4.1 Google AdMob

• Purpose: Serving banner advertisements to free-tier users
• Data collected: Device identifiers, advertising ID, approximate location, usage data
• Privacy policy: policies.google.com/privacy

4.2 RevenueCat

• Purpose: Subscription and in-app purchase management and validation
• Data collected: Anonymous user ID, purchase history, device type
• Privacy policy: revenuecat.com/privacy

4.3 Google Play Billing / Apple StoreKit

• Purpose: Payment processing for in-app purchases and subscriptions
• Data collected: Payment and transaction data, handled entirely by Google or Apple
• Privacy policies: Google, Apple

5. Data Sharing

We do not sell your personal data. We do not share any user-created content (checklists, vehicle profiles, equipment profiles, service logs) with third parties.

Data may be shared with third-party service providers listed above solely for the purposes described in this policy. We may also disclose data if required by law or to protect our legal rights.

6. Data Retention

User-created data is stored locally on your device and persists until you delete it or uninstall the App. Data collected by third-party services is retained in accordance with their respective privacy policies and retention schedules.

7. Data Security

We take reasonable measures to protect your data. However, no method of electronic storage or transmission is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13 (or 16 in certain EU member states). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If you believe that a child has provided us with personal data, please contact us and we will take steps to delete such information.

9. Your Rights Under GDPR

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR):

• Right of access — request a copy of the personal data we hold about you
• Right to rectification — request correction of inaccurate personal data
• Right to erasure — request deletion of your personal data
• Right to restriction of processing — request that we limit processing of your data
• Right to data portability — request transfer of your data in a machine-readable format
• Right to object — object to our processing of your personal data
• Right to withdraw consent — withdraw previously given consent at any time

10. Permissions

The App does not access your camera, microphone, or contacts.

11. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the effective date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of the App after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
